A saturday at MDW / Milan Design Week
A hit-and-run mission, short but intense— but we just had to squeeze in a day at Milan Design Week!
Jumping into the epicenter of design is always a trip—it’s like opening a window on “what’s next?”, on a future projecting “connected worlds” (this year’s Fuorisalone main theme), experimentation, sustainability, tech & humanity, AI & EI / Artificial & Emotional Intelligence, cross-over, hybridization and audacious design thinking.

We wandered through dreamy installations, next-gen materials and amazing new ways of thinking about creativity; and what really stood out was how blurred the lines are getting between art, fashion, function and storytelling. Maybe that’s where the real innovation lives.
Obviously, our radar was locked on the world of design lighting, where light isn’t just functional, it’s experiential. It becomes a narrative tool, shaping and transforming the vibe of a space, making it alive, fluid, human.
More and more, lighting design is moving beyond. It’s starting real conversations with the space it lives in, elevating materials, putting people and their sensory well-being at the center.
It’s a whole new language, light as emotion, light as design. Exactly the kind of vision we follow when creating our indoor and outdoor LED lighting concepts.

The day was a great opportunity to catch up with fellow design brands, soak up the global energy, do some quality networking, and also to reconnect with friends like Davide Montanaro, the brilliant Milan-based designer behind several of our collabs.
We came back home with eyes wide open and heads buzzing, full of ideas, inspiration and excitement to keep chasing beauty wherever light, shape and function intersect.
And who knows? Maybe next year we won’t just be visiting... maybe we’ll be part of it again!
Till next time…
