Introducing SKYLINE: Krila Design’s new table lamp for HoReCa… and beyond
There’s something new at Krila Design: it’s called SKYLINE, a table lamp created for the HoReCa world, yet perfectly at home in residential spaces where light becomes part of the experience.
SKYLINE was born from the collaboration between the Krila Design team and young designer Riccardo Giorgetti: the result is a refined, contemporary table lamp designed to deliver balanced, discreet, and technically advanced light.
Originally conceived for hospitality environments, such as hotels, restaurants, lounge bars, B&Bs ect., SKYLINE naturally extends into domestic settings, where lighting plays a key role in shaping atmosphere and enhancing how spaces are lived.
Slim, compact and essential, SKYLINE is designed to elevate the table, the objects on it and, above all, the experience of those who gather around it.

From a technical and functional perspective, SKYLINE stands out for:

Soft light, carefully calibrated atmosphere
At the core of the project is a patented plexiglass diffuser that distributes the light through the entire height of the lamp, creating a soft, uniform glow that is never harsh or glaring.
The LED source is completely concealed within the aluminum body: what you perceive is not the technology, but the light only.
This approach allows for precise lighting control, beautifully set tables and mise en place, warm, inviting atmospheres; all without visual clutter or interference.
Designed for everyday use
SKYLINE is built to meet the demands of intensive use typical of restaurants, hotels, and hospitality venues, while remaining perfectly suited for everyday use at home.
Light intensity is controlled via an integrated nickel touch button, allowing effortless adjustment with a simple gesture. Whether it’s service time, an aperitivo, dinner or a relaxed evening setting, the light adapts seamlessly.
Engineered to support approximately 3,000 service cycles, SKYLINE proves to be a reliable and long-lasting solution for the HoReCa sector.
Natural light, professional color rendering
Light quality is not a secondary aspect but the heart of the design.
SKYLINE features Seoul LEDs with CRI 90, ensuring high color rendering and natural, faithful light. The result:

A vertical, essential design
The name SKYLINE evokes the silhouette of skyscrapers, an inspiration tracing back to a trip to New York by designer Giorgetti.
From that vision comes a slender, vertical form, topped with a subtle tip reminiscent of an urban spire. The design is clean and essential: no lampshade, no unnecessary elements. Just light and form in perfect balance.
SKYLINE is discreet yet distinctive, designed to complement spaces without overwhelming them. It integrates effortlessly across a wide range of environments:

Meet the designer: Riccardo Giorgetti
Behind SKYLINE is Riccardo Giorgetti, a young industrial and environmental designer from Italy’s Marche region, trained at the University of Camerino / SAAD.
He joined Krila Design as an intern, and he took his first steps in product design, bringing with him a clear and essential approach: start from the light, study its effect, build around it an object able to enhances it, without adding anything unnecessary.
The first product developed together with our team was the Prometheus table lamp, in 2025.
“Every project comes from a balance between function, material, and intention. SKYLINE places light at the center, without elements that distract from it.” His vision is fully expressed in SKYLINE: a technical, clean, functional, and durable product, where every detail is designed to simplify use and enhance the lighting experience.
